Drifterbub David Would you care to comment more on "Triple Threat Athletes?" How often do you see them? What do they look like coming in? Can you float them between multiple positons during the game? Do they have their own position, or do you have to assign them to one? And lastly, do you see them being an issue in some of our more conservative leagues?
The scouting feature combined with the gameplay changes to the passing game have sucked me back into NCAA.....well done EA.
Dru50 - Also, you should consider how dynamic pitches and interest works. The list of preferred schools from a recruit will change. So you need to be able to scout more than just the guys you are targeting.
Dyansty Web enhancements weren't talked about as much, but shown in the video. We can derive that the Coaching Carousel and Advance Week function are in. Can you comment on what other improvements we will see that benefits our leagues?
I really hope that this game brings guys like you back. This community needs it. Shaun and I worked really hard to get the voice of this community into dynasty mode.
I liked the sound of how they changed the pitch logic, that will be interesting to try out. Should make recruiting battles more interesting.
I'm back....if I can find a league that plays evening west coast time. Between 2 boys in sports and work free time isn't plentiful anymore. I've been getting back into reading the NCAA forums, I'm happy to hear that the transfer fail issue was finally fixed.
ATHs are going to be much more sought after this year. They are beasts. Once they sign they are capable of playing several positions. Obviously with progression they may be better at whatever position you set them at in the initial offseason after they sign. They could be an issue, it just depends. I think '12 generated some pretty athletic QBs, so it will be interesting to see how they play.
is there a summary of dynasty changes/enhancements up yet somewhere? nevermind.... http://www.easports.com/ncaa-football/news/article/dynasty-improvements
Did they finally put all the projected recruit atrributes back on one page, or do you still have to scroll down?
Would you care to comment more on "Triple Threat Athletes?" Just overall athletes in general are going to be seriously more versatile than in year's past. Especially speed option QB's have been sprinkled in more more as well. Gonna be exciting for sure How often do you see them? I saw a good bit of athletes that could play multiple positions very well. Can you float them between multiple positons during the game? I didn't attempt that, I just noticed in position changes they could play more positions (ie: receiver, back, safety, corner, etc) Do they have their own position, or do you have to assign them to one? You have to assign them And lastly, do you see them being an issue in some of our more conservative leagues? Probably in the more conservative old gripey/whiny ones...yes In addition...might be repetitive but from my notes on Community Day: Recruiting---School report cards have been approved. Grades are in real time. Pro potential goes as far as breaking down and showing the draft history by round for your program and even the schools in your conference. Championship contender has a projected outlook for three years in advance Coaching stability breaks down how long your coordinators have been with you Now recruits are initially projected and you use scouting time to unlock ratings and the more time spent unveils the true overall value of the recruit Players leaving now the player gives his reasoning for why he is thinking about transferring. For guys declaring early for the draft the players are given projected NFL draft positioning. Now instead of using time to sway early players you have different options to convince them to stay. ie: regret not staying, gurantee a national championship, will win a award, 1st round draft. Pro Draft results are shown in the next stage
The scouting aspect sounded very cool. Excited about this. Insignificant question compared to the new features but...with the computer being better at getting commits, we are bound to strike out on some needed positions. Has the ability to search for JUCO's been added at all?
Didn't watch the stream due to work... Are online dynasties still set to 12 coaches max? Any changes to historical stat tracking from year to year? For instance team records? When records are broken (most career TD passes for example) does it actually save the record holders? Can Online Dynasty commissioners edit conference schedules? Can commissioners schedule neutral site games? Are more stadiums added for championship game options? Are their any changes to the offseason process?
