Information Madden 13 - Known Issues and Workarounds

This a thread to be used as a resource for known issues with EA Sports Madden 13 and community derived workarounds. This is not a place to complain about problems with the game.

Issue: Online CCM error message "Session No Longer Available" received when inviting/accepting challenge to play Season Game with opponent.

Cause: Corrupted files / Server connection interference.

Solution: Delete PS3 game data and/or disable media server connection. NOTE: This procedure will temporarilyclear any downloadable files from the PS3 hard drive. Madden NFL 13 will need to re-download patches and/or updates after the game data is removed. Only delete files in the Game Data Utility folder. DO NOT delete files in the Saved Data Utility (PS3) folder.


Delete PS3 game data process:
Navigate to the Game section of the PS system menu (controller icon).
Select the Game Data Utility folder.
Highlight Madden NFL 13 and press Triangle.
Select Delete.
Restart the console.
If you are still facing the issue after deleting the PS3 game data; then disable the media server connection.

The media server connection sometimes interferes with the PS3's ability to connect online. Temporarily disabling the media server is one of the best early troubleshooting steps available for the PS3.


Disable media server connection process:
Navigate to the Settings section of the PS system menu (briefcase icon).
Select Network Settings.
Select Media Server Connection.
Select Disable.
Restart the console.
